Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is the daughter of an Russian mother and Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She speaks fluently with German Russian and English and additionally speaks French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru has a Russian-Indian father. A choreographed performance at age 11 that aired on German television, transformed her into the Russian dancer and snow maiden. Following her graduation from high school in New York, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from St. John's University. Then in NYC, she was studying acting in the HB Studio. Later on, she moved to the Groundlings School and took up numerous initiatives. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru, and a Russian mother Olga. She moved from Afghanistan to East Meadow New York, with her father when she was 13 years old. She is a star along Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. She also had recurring roles in The Following, a Fox show The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
